When it came out, the Kawasaki H2 was scared.
The most suitable definition for that bike was "a monster": a technology concentrate, atypical cycling solutions for a Japanese supersport (tube frame, single-swing swingarm) and above all a monstrous supercharged engine with a volumetric compressor making it closer to a missile heart-heart than to a motorcycle.

The line was really futuristic: a speck of futuristic "head of insect" with references to Japanese Manga. in short, certainly not a motorcycle that went unnoticed.
But can you do more? It looks like it. Or at least must have been the Rev’it, a famous brand in the field of motorcycle clothing when he entrusted Wrenchmonkees with an H2, asking him to create a perfectly functional show bike that would carry the transalpine brand.

And here’s the ZX 1000 H2 / RevMonkee.
All the bike except the engine has been modified. Removed the mono swingarm replaced by a tube-shaped bib that slides and balances the side view, modified frame, new frames, new aluminum reservoir covered by a more tapered shell tank. To get the look that was clearly inspired by the SBK ’80s - 90s, they started off with a ZX-7R hull, which was immediately recognizable by the front air intake, which, through an aluminum duct, supplies fresh air from the engine.

The final effect is a cross between a dragster and an SBK rest-mod, the style that is so fashionable especially in the US and Japan.
Framing everything, racing details, a good full LED lighting, and a matte gray paint with all the sponsors who participated in the realization.
A real bomb.

Quando uscì, la Kawasaki H2 mise paura.
La definizione più adatta per quella moto fu "mostro": un concentrato di tecnologia, soluzioni ciclistiche atipiche per una supersportiva giapponese (telaio in tubi, forcellone monobraccio) e soprattutto un mostruoso motore sovralimentato con compressore volumetrico che la rendeva più vicina a un missile terra-terra che ad una moto.

La linea era davvero futuristica: una specia di "testa di insetto" con richiami ai Manga giapponesi. insomma, di certo non una moto che passasse inosservata.
Ma si può fare di più? Pare proprio di si. O perlomeno deve esserne stata sicura Rev’it, brand famoso nel campo dell’abbigliamento motociclistico quando ha affidato a Wrenchmonkees proprio una H2 chiedendogli di realizzare una show-bike perfettamente funzionale eche veicolasse il brand transalpino. 

Ecco nascere la ZX 1000 H2 / RevMonkee.
Tutta la moto tranne il motore è stato modificato. Rimosso il forcellone mono sostituito da un bibraccio in tubi che slancia ed equilibra la vista laterale, telaio modificato, nuovi telaietti, nuovo serbatoio in alluminio coperto da mono scocca serbatoio-codino maggiormente affusolato. Per ottenere il look dichiaratamente ispirato alle SBK anni ’80-90 sono partiti da una carena ZX-7R, immediatamente riconoscibile per via della caratteristica presa d’aria anteriore, che qui attraverso un condotto in alluminio rifornisce d’aria fresca il motore. 

L’effetto finale è un incrocio tra un dragster e una SBK resto-mod, lo stile che tanto è di moda soprattutto in Usa e in Giappone.
A incorniciare il tutto ci sono particolari Racing, una discreta illuminazione Full Led e una verniciatura grigia opaca con  gli sponsor che hanno partecipato ben visibili.
Una bomba vera.
